This notice explains how Borje (contact: borjeapp@gmail.com) handles personal data of users applying for the closed beta at borje.app.

What we collect

• Name (as given in the application form)
• Email address and password (account creation; passwords are stored hashed only)
• Application reason (which AI CLI tools you use)
• Infrastructure logs (IP address, request logs — standard hosting provider records)
• Anonymous usage counters (the beta app sends a once-a-day "opened" signal: open count, app version, operating system). Content is NEVER sent — your notes, file and project names, and commands stay on your device.

The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. The browser stores only the essential Supabase session data (localStorage) that keeps you signed in.

Why we use it

• Evaluating your closed-beta application and running the approval process
• Account verification and download authorization
• Communicating with you about the beta

Legal basis: performance of a contract and your consent given by submitting the form. Your data is never used for marketing or sold to third parties.

Where it lives, who sees it

Data is stored on our hosting provider Supabase, in the EU region. Borje's product memory is NOT part of this: memory files stay on your own device; only account verification reaches the server. No third-party sharing except where legally required.

Retention

Application data is kept for the duration of the closed beta and a reasonable archive period after. You can request deletion at any time; your account and application record are permanently removed.

Your rights

You may access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your data, and request information about transfers. Contact borjeapp@gmail.com — answered within 30 days.
